The House of Delights

The Holiday House London, is a truly inspiring interior design exhibition created to raise funds in support of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Renowned interior designers have come together to create two luxury show houses located on the exclusive Hamilton Terrace in North West London, each available for purchase at a cool £23 million.

Each room is inspired by the designer’s holiday travels and collectively create a myriad of design at its very best. A treasure trove of eclectic delights, from kaleidoscopic animation to an unexpected ceiling of candy sticks. There is certainly something for everyone.

Not an easy task, but I have put together some of my absolute favourites from the show, which showcase a wealth of texture, detailing and form.  These include a stunning graphite beaded wall sculpture showcased by Fiona Barratt, the intricate forms of Laura Hammett’s floral wall installation, the exquisite hand painted walls of Sophie Paterson’s kitchen oasis and marble reflections from Studio QD with Nicky Hallam, silk wrapped wardrobe doors with organically inspired bronze handles and statement grass lampshades from Turner Pocock, and Patrik Lönn’s African inspired bone mirror.

But you have to see it to believe it…..
